After a 4 year hiatus the fireworks returned to Gunning Showground in 2024 - but we missed it! So let's get there in 2025!
The Gunning fireworks is where Fireworks Australia demonstrate their products to potential buyers so a very brief description is given before each firing and then at the end a really spectacular climax where all hell breaks loose as can be seen in the Event pic. You can also be quite close to the action, so close in fact that on our last trip you could feel the heat from some of the fireworks.
In association with the fireworks there are lots of pop-up county fair style offerings of food and entertainment.
The plan is to arrange camping not too far away at Boxgrove farm in Jerrawa or members can opt to arrange their own accommodation nearby e.g. Gunning is just 34 minutes from Goulburn.
The fireworks themselves are on Saturday 20th September 2025
